Find out more about this year's carefully selected social projects in Brecht, for the benefit of 2 beautiful social organizations. Orthopedagogical center Clara Fey and Kringwinkel De Cirkel are teaming up and are looking forward to receiving a helping hand from MSD Belux on Thursday June 6, 2024.

Here are the good reasons why you should participate in this MSD Gives Back Day 2024 edition:

1. IT’S THE 11th TIME!
MSD Belux is organizing for the 11th time in a row the MSD Belux Gives Back Day, mobilizing all its employees to do voluntary work for 1 day. The whole company is invited to work side by side and roll up their sleeves for unique social projects in Belgium.

2. IT’S A CHANCE TO CONNECT AND REFLECT
It always is an impressive gathering of our teams where sharing, empowering, learning from each other and cross-divisional networking are on the agenda. With volunteers like you, we have a chance to make this world a better place!

3. IT’S AN EXCUSE TO GET AWAY …
The MSD Gives Back Day is a unique opportunity to get away from daily routine and do good for our  society.

F.A.Q.

Can I participate?

You can participate if you are an employee of MSD. Consultants can participate as well if they do not invoice this day to the company MSD.

What about the day itself?

On location, you will be welcomed by the organization’s project coordinator and the MSD delegates. You will receive a proper introduction about the organization’s goal and mission, followed by a briefing by the group coordinator. Afterwards, you will get to work. At noon, it’s time for lunch. The project will continue in the afternoon. A coffee break is foreseen. At the end of the day, there’s time for a debriefing, during which you and your colleagues will be able to reflect on the day’s activity and share your experience(s).The organization will serve snacks and refreshments to conclude this meaningful day.

Can I cancel my participation?

By subscribing to a project, you have committed yourself to participate. The organization itself is counting on your presence and help. Don’t forget that you are also representing MSD. That’s why we expect you to be present on the day of the project. If your participation must be cancelled due to compelling reasons, please inform:

  • your direct manager
  • marleen.vanheel@msd.com
  • Time4Society: info@time4society.com

If you are unable to attend on the day itself, please give a direct call to Time4Society,
Laila Ekchouchou - 0474/69 10 32.

Can I switch jobs?

Once submitted, your registration should be final for practical purposes. If you do wish to switch projects, please send your request to info@time4society.com. Please do not subscribe twice.

What happens in case of bad weather?

Some of the activities may take place outside. An alternative activity cannot always be provided. Spending the day outside in less ideal conditions is also part of the experience

Can I take pictures?

If you would like to take pictures, you can. We suggest you ask the permission of your local project coordinator first out of respect for the privacy of the organization’s guests or clients. Never take pictures of children without the explicit permission of the organization.

What should I do in case of an occupational accident?

In case of an occupational accident, you will be insured by Time4Society’s insurance (and not MSD’s work injury insurance). If this happens to be the case, immediately contact your local project coordinator. He will decide what steps need to be taken. He will also immediately report the injury or accident to Time4Society.
